have finally managed to upload the photographs I clicked on the hike to
Kelly's Knob. This was a 9 mile hike to a viewpoint, at an elevation of about
3800ft, in the Appalachian mountains. This hike is one of the few hikes
around here, that actually involves hiking across farms and meadows, before
the uphill stretch to the mountain top. Most hikes tend to have an immediate
hike uphill, right at the trail's start.
has been two weeks since I went on this hike. I remember very well that it
rained heavily, both before and during the hike. We had a tough time wading
through all that slush. The pictures are online. Check them out.
