Floridian's have survived the second hurricane of the season. Frances
has moved on, after having caused enough unrest and devastation in the region for five full
days. The region was under a continuous Tornado watch for the better part of
the day today, as Frances' eye made landfall (again!) in Florida's pan
are beginning to return to their dark and damaged homes. The extent of the damage
state wide, hasn't
been assessed yet, but there has been extensive building damage, fallen
trees, power disruption, flooding and some lost lives.
have compiled my hurricane aftermath pictures here.
I clicked these in my neighborhood. They are by no means as
dramatic as many others that you might find on regular news sites. I thank
god for that!
